Obituary of Robert L. Smith Jr.

Mr. Robert Lovey Smith, the son of the late Geraldine Hardy Smith and Robert Smith, was born December 8, 1977. Robert (BB) professed a hope in Christ at an early age. A member of Pilgrim Chapel. Robert (BB) attended Arsenal Technical High School – later he received his GED. Robert (BB) loved music, always trying to rap. He loved to spend time with his family, especially his kids. He loved his kids dearly, two of them were named after movies, his two youngest Mya and Roman. He had a great relationship with his siters Diane Watts, and Late Sharon Hardy Austin. Robert (BB) also had great relationships with his brothers Earl Hardy and Greg Smith, both were his rock. Robert (BB) had an unbreakable bond with his nephew Anthony, they were inseparable and more like brothers, best friends, his confidant. He loved all his nieces, but Robin was his everything and taught Teonca how to skip school and smoke. Robert (BB) always came up with a plan for how to get rich. Robert Lovey Smith (BB) departed his life Thursday May 11, 2023, at the age of 45 years. He was preceded in death by his mother, Geraldine Smith; his father Robert Smith; sister Sharon Denise Austin; brother Robert Taft Smith. He leaves to cherish his memory and to celebrate his life; sons Robert Gerald Smith and Roman Leonidus Houston; daughters Camille Zachelle Smith, Mya Celina Houston; sisters Diane Watts, Late Sharon Austin, Lashell Smith, tiffany smith, Debra Smith, and Linda Murff (Charles); brothers Earl Dewayne Hardy and Greg Smith; with a host of nieces, nephews and family friends.
