Obituary of Robert Wayne Miller

Robert Miller, 66, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on June 26, 2022 at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Indianapolis. Robert was born in Gary, Indiana and grew up in Valparaiso, Indiana once he and his brother, Bill, were welcomed into the Miller family. He graduated from Chesterton High School in 1974. He briefly served in the United States Army before eventually settling in the Indianapolis area. Robert was passionate about the Indianapolis Colts. He was a true and loyal fan, with the exception of when the Colts played the Chicago Bears. Robert is survived by his loving parents, John and Shirley Miller of O’Fallon, Illinois, his brother E. Brian (Jennifer) Miller also of O’Fallon, Illinois, and his nephews, Brice Miller of Swansea. Illinois and Blake Miller of Shiloh, Illinois. He was preceded in death by hi twin brother, William, in 2006 and his wife, Patti (nee Garmon), in 1981. While Robert’s passing was somewhat unexpected, his family is thankful and comforted be the kind and caring support Robert received from his social workers, Kayla and Angela.
