Obituary of Carolyn Cook

Carolyn Arlene Cook, 90, of Indianapolis passed away on June 24, 2022. She was born in Jonesboro, IN on February 21, 1932 to the late Orval L. and Flossy B. Lance. Carolyn worked for Bosma Enterprises for 50 years. She enjoyed traveling, listening to music and talking on the phone. She liked creating ceramics. She would attend local churches. She also enjoyed reading. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 40 years, Melvin E. Cook Sr. She is survived by her son, Melvin Cook Jr.; daughter, Tina Newlin; grandsons, Christopher Cook, Jeffery and Jason Newlin; great granddaughter, Kayla Wright; great grandsons, Tony and Aaron Cook; great-great grandson, Dawson Wright; sister, Beverly Coplen; and her brothers, Don and Ivan Lance. In lieu of flowers the family kindly asks for memorial contributions to be made to Bosma Enterprises 6270 Corporate Dr, Indianapolis, IN 46278.
