Obituary of Muslin Gonzales

Our beloved Muslin Gonzales, also known as “Tants,” left this earth on Wednesday, July 7th, 2021 at the age of 89. Muslin passed away after courageously battling through many years of illness. A fighter until the end, she was a beloved Wife, Mother, Sister, Grandmother, Great grandmother, Aunt, and friend to many. Muslin was born on December 15,1931 in San Fernando,Trinidad, West Indies. She was blessed with five children: Lloyd, Carol, Marcia, Denyse, and Karen. Muslin was predeceased by her husband Vernon and son Lloyd. She was also predeceased by her siblings Alfred, Alston, Nolan, Agatha, Cecily, Augustin, and Faith Muslin is survived by her siblings Neville, Lyris and Ann; her four daughters Carol, Marcia, Denyse and Karen; and her grandkids Adrian, Sacha, Ischa, Sheldon, Sherwin, Christian and Melissa. She also leaves 12 Great-Grandkids, and several nephews and nieces. Muslin was a woman of faith, and lived her life serving others. She was always ready to help someone in need. She was a beloved babysitter to 7, and her love of children propelled her to faithfully donate to St Jude’s Children Hospital. Mum/Tants, our special memories of you will always bring smiles to our faces. If only we could have you back for just a little while, so that we can sit and talk again as we used to do. The fact that you are no longer here, will always cause some pain. But you’ll be forever in our hearts until we meet again. You will be dearly missed!
