Obituary of Victoria Sassa-Lee

Victoria was the oldest of eight children. She resided with her Parents Charles and Dorothy Colbert for most of her young life. Victoria was an amazing, fun, loving and entrepreneur spirited woman. Victoria was a giving person who shared, supported, and encouraged others. Victoria lived life to her fullest. Victoria owned various business which included Ames Security, Sanitary Express and her most recent Aim High Logistics. Victoria attended school 43 (James Whitcomb Riley). She attended Broad Ripple High school her Freshman Year but graduated from Lawrence North High School. Victoria attended IUPUI and Herron art school before leaving to begin her journey to entrepreneurship. Victoria Colbert Sassa and Gene Lee were married in Las Vegas on August 26, 2003. Victoria and Gene through their union had three sons: Joshua Colbert Sassa, Gene Lee Jr., Marcellus Lee. Victoria and Gene resided in Cumming, Ga. Victoria’s favorite prayer was Psalm 23. Victoria loved to travel she visited multiple states and countries. Victoria had a love of everything sold by Harley-Davidson. She was known as Sexy Red because of her infectious personality and beautiful smile. Victoria was motivated by someone telling her she could not do something. Victoria’s favorite saying to her parents was “I’m your Mama and your Papa.” Victoria fought odds against brain surgery, a motorcycle accident but lost her most recent battle as she fought a good fight on April 17, 2021. Victoria is resting in peace with her Heavenly Father free of pain and illness. Victoria’s biological mother Donna Dukes preceded her in death. She leaves to cherish in her memory her husband Gene Lee, sons Joshua Colbert Sassa, Gene Lee Jr. and Marcellus Lee, her parents Charles and Dorothy Colbert, beloved sisters Carol Colbert. Darlene Foster (Robert Foster) Jeanette Kerley (Andre Kerley) Cindy Keiffer (Daren Keiffer) beloved Brothers; Charles Vincent Colbert (Dorice Colbert) Charles Colbert and Torrance Jay Colbert (Jacquie Colbert); grandchildren, Christian Lee, Jamir Lee, Malcom Lee and Jayla Lee; sisters-in-law Doris Fowikes, Marilyn (Andrew) Brackett, Julia (Leon) Lee-Junior, Teresa Shipmon; brothers-in law Joseph Lee, Jr., Robert Lee, and Marvin Lee; aunts, uncles and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends
