Obituary of Faith Renee Banks

Miss Faith Renee Banks, known as Fay-Fay, to her family and friends, was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, on December 29, 1998, to Cassiea Banks (Taylor). Faith graduated from Brownsburg High School in Brownsburg, Indiana, in 2016. She also attended the University of Indiana located in Evansville, Indiana, where she majored in Early Childhood Development and Cognitive Behavioral Studies. Faith loved to sing and dance and had a passion for praise dancing. She was a people person and was beloved by all who met her, especially children. Faith loved children and put that love into action as a nanny and later as a substitute teacher for Lawrence Township Schools. She continued to work as a substitute teacher until her death. As a child, Faith was christened at 28th Street Church of God in Christ under the pastoral leadership of Superintendent Nathaniel Draughn. She later attended Umoja Christian Church where she shared her gifts with the Praise Dance Ministry. Faith was known for her beautiful smile and her beautiful spirit. She had a zest for life and a determination to live life to the fullest. Faith believed in living life without regret. At the time of her death, Faith was seven months pregnant with Londyn, who she already loved as she excitedly awaited her birth. Faith would have been an amazing mother to her baby girl. They both are loved and will be missed tremendously. Faith transitioned from this life on Saturday, September 26, 2020. Faith leaves to cherish her memory her mother and step-father Cassiea and Otis Taylor; her sister, Destiney Banks; her brother, Darius Banks; two grandfathers, James Brown, Sr. and Samuel Willis; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Faith was preceded in death by her grandmother, Cassandra Brown.
