Obituary of Valerie Ringham

In Loving Memory Valerie Ann Ringham November 22, 1949 – August 7, 2020 Valerie Ann (Cooper) Ringham, 70, of Indianapolis, IN passed away on August 7, 2020. Valerie was born in Beech Grove, Indiana to Raymond and Helen Cooper. She was the oldest of four children, Raymond and George Cooper, and Cathy Cooper Stefanovic. Valerie has two children, Sean Washburn and Stacy Washburn-Gillen. Valerie married Brian Ringham March 21, 1998. They were married 22 years. Brian’s dream was to move to Allons, Tennessee and enjoy cabin life. Valerie graduated from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana with a master’s degree and a reading specialty degree from I. U. P. U. I. She had a master’s degree with a reading specialty degree. She taught grades K-9 for 24 years. Valerie was an avid reader who enjoyed reading and studying the Bible with her husband Brian and church family. She enjoyed walking and visiting friends. She loved receiving and sending cards and letters. She was not a lover of animals until she and Brian got their first dog. She was preceded in death by her dog Diamond. Valerie is survived by her sweet pup Bella and her husband Brian. Brian wishes to thank their church family from Mooresville Church of Christ for their love and support. Brian would also like to thank Kindred of Home Hospice and Life’s Journey Hospice for the excellent care given to Valerie and for continuing to support and guide him through this terrible loss.
