Obituary of Carmen Venerable

Carmen L. (Slatter) Venerable, 72, of Indianapolis passed away on December 22, 2018. A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Friday, December 28, 2018 at Serenity Funeral and Cremation Services 6202 Michigan Road Indianapolis, IN 46224 with visitation from 10:00 AM until time of service. Carmen is preceded in death by her sister, Velma Reed; brother, Ronald Henderson; and grandchild, Ozie Lee Gardner Jr.  She is survived by her husband, Jerry Lee Venerable; children, Sharon Pickett, Sandra Whitfield, James Whitfield and step-son, Dujaun Carpenter; sisters Brenda Harris, Norma Spaulding, Shirley Stroman, Barbara McDowell, Anita Slatter and Jacqueline Slatter; brother, Calvin Slatter; grandchildren, James Edward Whitfield Jr., Onesha Gardner, Shawn Pickett, Deanna (Anthony) Pittman, Latanya Whitfield, Antonie Yates, Jaylyn Whitfield, Jazimine Whitfield, Javaughn Whitfield and Jazara Whitfield.
