Rodney and I met when he was still working for the railroad. We instantly had a connection and love to talk about sports. He called me "Shorty". He being 6'4'' and me 5'2". Knowing how much he loved fishing, my family and I took him out on our boat and showed him how the Pacific Northwest catches fresh crab, when he came to visit. He had such a great time, he really tried to make it back to Washington State again, but unfortunately, this didn't happen, with all the challenges he was faced with. He is now with his best friend and family members and hopefully at peace. I will always remember the good times we had. He will forever be in my heart.

Rodney was a proud father ... A loyal friend... A good man. We put a lifetime into four and a half years ; from hanging out together and doing nothing to picnics at Eagle Creek Park (which he called his Park) walking the trails and talking about any and everything, jazz concerts, to watching most sports together. And especially debating about the Pacers and LeBron James... Notice I did not say the Pacers and Miami Heat or the Pacers and Cleveland Cavaliers, I said the Pacers and LeBron James. He was a faithful companion, I miss him dearly.

My Father-In-Law was a proud, God-fearing man. I was blessed to share memories with him that will always cause me to look back and smile. I am so proud of my husband, Rodney Holliday II for carrying on every positive attribute that his father possessed. Many blessings to the entire family. I love you all.

I remember my Father/Daughter dance at my wedding, and the song was Whitney Houston “I Look To You”. That song has so much meaning, and even though you are not here physically, you are here spiritually and I will forever carry you in my heart, and will ALWAYS look to you. I love you daddy.
Your first born, your twin
