Obituary of Alice Toler

Ms. Alice D. Toler born to the union of the late Robert Holt and Myrtle Gurnell on December 28th 1925 in Indianapolis, Indiana. After graduation from Crispus Attucks High School she began working at RCA assembly facility located then on East Michigan and Dearborn St. During that same time period she met and married Mickie B. Toler who preceded her in death August 12th, 2013, over 63 years of marriage. Alice was a stay at home mom for the next 15years. She later worked at Lazarus Department Store for the next 6 years. In 1993 she began work for REM of Indiana where she served individuals with disabilities and provided supports in her family home. Her last employment was as a Bus Drivertransporting high school students. Alice was called home to Christ on Thursday May 3rd, 2018. Her parents preceded her in death as did her husband, and a granddaughter. She leaves to cherish her memory are her children James Toler (Carole) Camille Ballinger (Kevin), Carmela Toler, grandchildren Dena, Bianca, Sataria, Noni Ode and one great grandchild Journey and she leaves to cherish a host of other relatives and friends.
