Obituary of Anita Elizabeth Terry

Anita Elizabeth Terry daughter of the late Doris Jean Terry and Theodrick Brown Terry was born on October 9, 1960. Anita was affectionately referred to as Nita by her family and friends.  She attended Northwest High School. Anita was employed in hotel services at both Holiday INN and Canterbury hotel for over a decade and it was there that she found her love for cooking. A true entrepreneur, Anita owned and operated two successful businesses; Cater 2 U a food catering company and Anita’s Tiny Terry Tubbies LLC a home childcare.
Nita’s passion, for people lead her to open her heart and home to children in need of love and care. She welcomed a number of children in her home as they went through the transition to finding permanent housing.  Anita was a devoted member of Greater Northwest Baptist Church here she professed her faith in Jesus Christ.
Nita is survived by her children Antaun Goodrich and Aunya Terry. (3) Sisters; Joy, Waunsonjia and Dionne Terry (2) brothers William, Troy and Dennis Terry proceeded in death all of Indianapolis, In.  Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children, siblings, nieces, and nephews.
